Final Blog Post

I’m thrilled to finally share that I’ve earned my MOS certification in all three levels: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint! This has been a long and challenging journey, and it feels incredible to reach this milestone.

A special thank you goes to Mr. Wu, who stood by my side every step of the way. He was always there to answer my questions, even at late hours, and offered endless support throughout this semester. His patience and dedication meant so much to me, especially since I’ve been dealing with the aftermath of a car accident that left me with a brain injury.

Mr. Wu recognized my determination to succeed and supported me through the process, understanding the challenges I faced. I’m so grateful he saw the effort I was putting in and didn’t give up on me. I wanted to do my best, not just for myself, but to make him proud of my hard work and commitment.

Earning these MOS certifications is a huge accomplishment for me, and it’s a testament to the perseverance and dedication I’ve put into this journey. It feels amazing to see my hard work pay off. I’m beyond proud of what I’ve achieved, and I’m excited to see where this will take me next.

Format a Calendar, Change Properties and Print Worksheets, Aftermath

4.8.8 has taught me to organize my workouts through-out the week, because I have a hard time remembering my previous workouts. I can just print out my calendars with specific areas to workout and just check them off as the week goes by.

5.4.5 has taught me how to print out certain areas on a worksheet. Also it has taught me to print out multiple papers. It also has shown me to print out in Landscape orientation, and add modify the headers and footers in the print settings.

Finishing IS 101-3004, Fall 2024. This has been a rollercoaster for me, but I am very proud of myself for sticking with is and not giving up. I owe a lot of credit to our tutoring services that we have in our school. Watching these videos were very tough for me to soak in the information, even if I watch videos repeatedly. I work better when I have somebody there explaining to me why you need to do things in a certain way to get it done correctly.

The Beginning, and What I Learned From Chapter 1

My first couple of weeks were very overwhelming, I almost felt like dropping the class for a bit. But my mother talked me out of it, and pointed out how Mr. Wu is an exceptional instructor, and this would probably be the best place where I can actually learn, and pass the class.

I learned how to allow pop up expectations from specific websites, plus the advance settings in your Internet security. Also the location settings on certain websites that you do not want knowing your exact location that you can leave on or off.

Hello

Hello everyone my name is Steven Martinez, and I'm currently enrolled at CSN in Las Vegas, NV. I am taking IS 101 for the second time, ready to pass and knock this out to earn my Associate of Arts degree. The first week began to be very stressful like the semester before, but I actually have gotten more completed than my previous semester. That is why I'm really dedicated to stick this out because my professor is really helpful, and it doesn't seem like I will be lucky enough to come across another professor like Mr. Wu that would actually take the time out of their day to actually make sure I am getting things done correctly. I am also taking Philosophy 102 as well.
